Suspicious males in Comox

On March 16, 2020 the Comox Valley RCMP received a report regarding two suspicious males going door-to-door in Comox.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on March 15, 2020 a resident on Colby Road in Comox reported that two males came to their door to warn them against having large gatherings (believed to be associated to COVID-19 concerns). The males identified themselves as employees for the Town of Comox and presented generic identification. The resident became suspicious and the males quickly departed.

“We would like to reach out to Comox Valley residents to determine if anyone else had a visit from these suspicious males” said Cst. Monika Terragni, Comox Valley RCMP Media Relations Officer. “Specifically, if anyone has surveillance footage of these males, it would be helpful to identify them” she added.

If you have a visit from suspicious people in your neighbourhood, please don’t hesitate to call police right away and make a report. If you have any information about these particular males, please call the Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online.
