Break and Enter on Denman Island
On October 19, 2020 the Comox Valley RCMP received a call reporting a break and enter that occurred sometime overnight at the Denman Island General Store. The suspect(s) broke a window to gain access and stole cash from a charity fund jar.

Damage to Election Signs
On October 18, 2020 the Comox Valley RCMP received a report that some election signs in the Crown Isle area had been vandalized, possibly by an knife and/or axe. This is a reminder than vandalizing, damaging, or tampering with election signs is a punishable offence under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Looking for witnesses
On September 26, 2020 Comox Valley RCMP received a report of a 25-year old man who had been injured in the Dove Creek area of Courtenay. The injuries sustained by the man were serious but not life threatening. Investigators believe the injuries may be a result of a motor vehicle incident. A vehicle of interest has been identified and is described as a white 4-door vehicle, possibly from the 1990s. The vehicle had older square shaped headlights and a large front grill. Earlier in the evening (on September 25, 2020) the vehicle may have been seen getting pulled out of a ditch by a red truck. Anyone who saw these vehicles or who may have dashcam footage of these vehicles is asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP.
