A break, enter and theft into a trailer, was reported to the Comox Valley RCMP on March 7th. The trailer had been parked on the 6800 block of Island Highway south overnight. The unknown culprit(s) had stolen several construction tools from the trailer. (2017-2862) A second break, enter and theft into a trailer, was reported to the Comox Valley RCMP on March 7th. This trailer had been parked on the 4600 block of Montrose Drive in Royston overnight. The unknown culprit(s) had stolen several construction tools from this trailer as well. (2017-2875)

The Comox Valley RCMP received a call of a residential break, enter and theft on March 7th. The residence, located on Swan Road, Denman Island had been broken into overnight. Several household items, tools and horse Tack were stolen. The Comox Valley RCMP Forensic Identification Section is assisting with this investigation.

Two reports of mischief were reported to the Comox Valley RCMP on March 7th. A building, located on the 1400 block of Noel Avenue, Comox, as well as a postal box and signs near Dogwood Road and Pritchard Road, in Comox, had had graffiti painted onto them over the weekend. If anyone has any information regarding this vandalism, they are asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 and cite file 2017-2866. A second break, enter and theft into a trailer, was reported to the Comox Valley RCMP on March 7th. This trailer had been parked on the 4600 block of Montrose Drive in Royston overnight. The unknown culprit(s) had stolen several construction tools from this trailer as well. (2017-2875)

A business break, enter and theft was reported to the Comox Valley RCMP on March 8th. Overnight, an unknown person(s) had broken a window to gain entrance into the business located on the 500 block of Cliffe Avenue, in Courtenay. While inside, a quantity of rolled coins were stolen. The Comox Valley RCMP Forensic Identification Section is assisting with this Investigation.

On March 9th, the Comox Valley RCMP were advised of an alarm activation at a business located on the 2700 block of Dunsmuir Avenue, in Cumberland. Once on scene, it was discovered that the front door of the business had been broken with a brick. Once inside, the unknown culprit(s) had stolen donation boxes.

The Comox Valley RCMP received a report of a theft of two bicycles from the 1900 block of Tull Avenue, in Courtenay on March 10th. Sometime during the day, an unknown person(s) had stolen a Giant brand mountain bike and a child’s mountain bike. The Giant bike is described as being royal blue with a sticker peeling off of it. The child’s bike is a blue mountain bike with a bent kick stand.

On March 11th, the manner a vehicle was being operated in caught the attention of a Comox Valley RCMP member, on the Old Island Highway, in Courtenay. A traffic stop was conducted, and an investigation into impaired driving was started. It was determined that the driver had consumed alcohol before driving. As a result, the driver was issued a 90 day Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

A business break, enter and theft was reported to the Comox Valley RCMP on March 11th. The business, located on the 2200 block of Cliffe Avenue, had a window broken and entry was gained. Once inside, an area of the business, where a cash float was located, had been breached and a quantity of cash was stolen.

The theft of an electric scooter overnight was reported to the Comox Valley RCMP on March 11th. The scooter had been stored in a shed, located on the 2100 block of Lake Trail Road, in Courtenay. The scooter is described as being a Motorino brand scooter that is yellow, black and silver in color.

On March 13th, the Comox Valley RCMP were advised of a mischief to a business window that occurred overnight. The business, located on the 1500 block of McPhee Avenue, in Courtenay had an object thrown through the front window, causing it to break. The Comox Valley RCMP Forensic Identification Section assisted with the investigation.
