A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

Comox Valley police are looking for a male that performed an indecent act in the parking lot of Chances casino in Courtenay. At about 9:30 PM on 19 June 2009 a male described as around 60 years old, 5'9" with grey/white hair ,wearing glasses and carrying a very distinctive carved cane approached a lady working in the gardens of Chances casino by the Washington Inn. The male known only as Bob struck up a conversation with the gardener then unzipped his fly, removed his penis and began to masturbate. The gardener quickly left the area. The male believed to live close by left the area.
