A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person or persons responsible for the theft of a vehicle from a local car lot. On July 15th police received a call from Comox Valley Dodge in Courtenay reporting that a vehicle belonging to an employee was missing. The vehicle, a 1989 Ford Ranger, black in colour with a tan drivers side front fender, was taken sometime during the night from where it was parked at the rear of the lot. The owner had the only set of keys and there were no plates on the vehicle.The metal gate at the rear of the building had been tampered with by removing nuts and bolts and the metal fence was bent back allowing entry into the area. There are no suspects at the moment and the crime remains under investigation.
