A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

A report of a break-in was received on July 25th, 2009 from the 1100 block of
Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, BC. A rock had been thrown through the window to gain entry. The cash register was stolen. The file is still under investigation.
