A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

A break-in was reported on August el, 2009 in the 2800 block of Piercy Avenue, Courtenay, BC. Entry was gained by lifting the sliding door out of its' track. Extensive damage was done to the residence. The file is still under investigation.
