A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

A break and enter was reported in the early morning hours of August 20th, 2009 in the 1500 block of Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, BC. The front window was smashed and a gumball machine was stolen and recovered a few blocks away. The file is still under investigation.
