A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

A report of a break-in was received on September 25th, 2009 in the 2700 block of Comox Road, Courtenay, BC. Entry was via a rear basement door. Stolen was a DVD player, 2 framed pictures of a cheetah and a lion and $500 cash. The file is still under investigation.
