A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

Category: Residential Break-ins
A report of a break-in was received on October 27th, 2009 from the 400 block of 3rd Street, Courtenay, BC. It occurred in the previous few days. Entry was gained by a sliding basement door. Stolen was a PL amplifier 6.011, an RMX2450 amplifier, snowboard boots (blue, size 8), Burton snowboard boots (orange/white size 12), a Dewalt skill saw, a Dewalt angle grinder and a Mastercraft palm sander.
