A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

A report of a break-in was received on November 17th, 2009 in the
2900 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, Courtenay, BC. It occurred overnight.
The front glass door was broken and entry gained. Stolen were the
blades which run the computer system.
