A theft from an unlocked storage shed located on the 5700 Block of Coral rd.
at the Bates Beach resort was reported. It is believed the theft occured on
August the 29th 2010. Stolen in the theft were an Echo leaf blower, a 26"
bar 365 Husquavarna chain saw and a red Honda Brush cutter.

A report of a theft of two bicycles was received from a resident on the 1700 block of Mallard drive in Courtenay. The bikes are described as Mens mountian bikes, 1 is an Enuro Specialized bike and the 2nd is a Giant ,brand of bike.
