Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s) responsible for theft of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. During the early morning hours of 2009-11-06, unknown person(s) stole the motorcycle from 3294 Grant Rd, Courtenay, B.C.. The motorcycle is a 1960 Harley Davidson, chopper style, black in colour with chrome front end, bearing BC Licence Plate Number L832

Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s) responsible for theft of a Motor Scooter. During the evening of 2009-10-21, in the area of 1500 Block Fitzgerald Ave, Courtenay, B.C., unknown person stole a 2005 Yamaha Motor Scooter, blue in colour, bearing BC Licence Plate Number L73681.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s) responsible for Robbery and Assault with a Weapon. At about 1915 hrs, 2009-10-13, outside the Driftwood Mall, two males were approached by two other males brandishing weapons and demanding money. Money was surrendered but victims were still assaulted, receiving minor injuries.
Suspect #1 described as non white male, dark hair with about a two inch brush cut, wearing a black hat, gold or silver chain, black hoodie and baggy black jeans, brandishing what appeared to be half of a garden shear.
Suspect #2 described as non white male, about 20 years old, wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans, brandishing a can of pepper spray.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s) responsible for the Break and Enter to a residence on Timberlane Rd, Courtenay, B.C. During day light hours of 2009-10-14, unknown person(s) had entered the residence thru a back door. Suspects stole a lap top computer, digital camera and a assortment of jewelry.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s) responsible for the theft of many personal items from members of the Glacier Kings Hockey team. The theft occurred around 1900 hrs, 2009-10-03 from the change room of the Sport Center at 3001 Vanier Dr, Courtenay, B.C.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s) responsible for destroying several trees on the east side of Lerwick Rd, Courtenay, B.C. The incident occurred during the evening hours of 2009-09-01, between Inverclyde Dr and Malahat Dr. City of Courtenay estimate cost of damage between $10,000.00 and $12,000.00.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s)  responsible for a Break and Enter to a residence in the 2000 block of Cooke Ave, Comox, B.C.  The incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday, 2009-09-26.  Stolen was computer equipment and a large amount of jewelry including keepsake items.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person(s)  responsible for numerous thefts from the change room at the Comox Valley Sports Center, 3001 Vanier Dr, Courtenay.   The incident occurred between the hours of 1730 hrs and 1830 hrs, 2009-09-20.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person responsible for spray painting Graffiti on two commercial properties in the 2200 block, Cliffe Ave, Courtenay. The crime occurred on the evening of 2009-09-14 and/or  early morning of 2009-09-15. The Mansfield Center and Kal Tire were both targeted.  The cost to repair such damage in man power and money is always extensive.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person responsible for a Armed Robbery at the Travel Lodge Motel at about 1300 hrs, Tuesday, 2009-09-08.  The lone male produced a knife and demanded the female employee hand over the money in the cash register.  Suspect  fled on foot without   any  money. The female employee was not injured.  The suspect is described as white male  6 Feet / 183 cm tall and weighs about 184 lbs / 84 kg.  At the time he was wearing blue jeans, a grey zip front hoody and  white running shoes .  This incident is identical to the Armed Robbery at Whistle Stop Pub on 2009-08-30 with same description of the  suspect .

Comox Valley police are looking for the person responsible for a Armed Robbery at the Whistle Stop Pub at about 2150 hrs, Saturday, 2009-08-30.  The lone male produced a knife and demanded the female employee hand over the money in the cash register.  Suspect  fled with a undetermined amount of money. The female employee was not injured.  The suspect is described as white male (well tanned) 6 Feet / 183 cm tall and weighs about 184 lbs / 84 kg.  At the time he was wearing blue jeans, a turquoise light green zip front hoody and  white running shoes .  He departed the area in a stolen vehicle which was recovered later in the evening.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person or persons responsible for starting a fire in the outside stairwell of a residential complex.  The residence is located at Alderwood Place, Courtenay.  The fire was extinguished by Courtenay Fire Department.  The  damage is  estimated in excess  $1000.00.  This incident could have escalated into loss of life.  There are no witnesses to this incident and Police are still investigating.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person or persons responsible for break in, mischief and wilful damage to a residential construction site in the Courtenay area. A duplex under construction nearing completion on Piercy Ave, Courtenay was entered. Suspects entered by lifting the sliding glass door off its rack. The culprits damaged to the interior by kicking holes in the walls as well as turning on water to the unit. Damage estimated at $30,00.00.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person  responsible for a theft at a local store. On August 7th at about 3:15 PM a caucasian female described as 5'6", about 125 Lbs, in her late 40"s with dyed blonde hair and carrying a small backpack entered  the I HOS Gallery on Comox Rd in Courtenay. The female walked slowly through the store picking up various articles and holding them as though she wished to buy them. During her time in the store the suspect took a bracelet valued at $38.00, a pair of earring worth $32.00 a wine cork puller at $27.00 and a mug costing $10.00. The lady then left the store with out paying for any of the articles. The entire incident was caught on video tape and remains under investigation by Comox Valley RCMP.

Comox Valley police are looking for the persons  responsible for a break in and attempted theft at a local store. On August 1st at about 2:50 AM a witness who works for a local business interrupted two males who were inside the Diary Queen store on Cliffe Ave in Courtenay. The males had disabled the primary alarm and siren then smashed the side door to gain entrance to the store. They were in the process of attacking the safe with a grinder when they were surprised by the delivery person. The males fled the store to a waiting vehicle. A secondary alarm was still functioning and notified both the alarm company and the police. The suspect vehicle is described as an older blue minivan possible 1990. There are no descriptions of the suspects at this time,  however Comox Valley forensic ident section attended and evidence as well as a tape were seized at scene. The crime remains under investigation.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person or persons responsible for the theft of a vehicle from a local car lot. On July 15th police received a call from Comox Valley Dodge in Courtenay reporting that a vehicle belonging to an employee was missing. The vehicle, a 1989 Ford Ranger, black in colour with a tan drivers side front fender, was taken sometime during the night from where it was parked at the rear of the lot. The owner had the only set of keys and there were no plates on the vehicle.The metal gate at the rear of the building had been tampered with by removing nuts and bolts and the metal fence was bent back allowing entry into the area. There are no suspects at the moment and the crime remains under investigation.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person or persons responsible for the theft of a boat and motor from a yard in the Courtenay area. At 8:30 AM on July 13 the owner of the boat called to report that his boat and the attached kicker were gone. The boat was on a trailer parked in the driveway of his residence on Webdon Rd. in Courtenay.Sometime during the night the trailer was rolled down the street and a chain locking the boat to the trailer was taken off. The boat ,a 12 foot open silver Springbok valued at $1500.00 and an 8 HP Johnson outboard valued at $300.00 were taken. The trailer was left behind on the road. There are no suspects at this time and the theft remains under investigation.

Comox Valley police are looking for the person or persons responsible for mischief to and theft from a local sporting goods store. On June 23 at about 6:35 AM an associate of Happy's Source for Sports on 6Th street in Courtenay called to report that there was diesel fuel escaping into the city drainage system. Members attended and it was ascertained that unknown culprits had stolen a 30 foot piece of 3/8 inch copper pipe used for transferring diesel fuel from an outside tank to the store. Between 250 and 500 liters of the fuel are suspected to have drained into the drainage system which eventually empties into the Puntledge River. HAZMAT personnel were immediately notified and they attended to deal with the spill. Forensic ident section also attended and evidence was gathered froim the scene. The copper wire valued at $1.50 per foot is minor in monetary value compared to the high cost of environmental damage that occurred as a result of this wanton mischief and theft.

Comox Valley police are looking for a male passing counterfeit American money in the Comox Valley area. At about 11:30 AM on 23  June  a male entered the Lorne cold beer and wine store on Comox Ave in Comox and selected a case of beer. He approached was not able to check the validity of the currency at that time. The serial number DB63202683D was later found to be counterfeit. The male was described as about 6'2", 240 Lbs, sruffy, unshaven with dark shopulder length hair was wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, black skater shoes and large black aviator styled sunglasses. after receiving his change the male left the store and drove away in a blue Dodge Dakota . No plate was obtained. The matter remains under investigation.

Comox Valley police are looking for a male that performed an indecent act in the parking lot of Chances casino in Courtenay. At about 9:30 PM on 19 June 2009 a male described as around 60 years old, 5'9" with grey/white hair ,wearing glasses and carrying a very distinctive carved cane approached a lady working in the gardens of Chances casino by the Washington Inn. The male known only as Bob struck up a conversation with the gardener then unzipped his fly, removed his penis and began to masturbate. The gardener quickly left the area. The male  believed to live close by left the area.
